Lou Stands Up for Intel Jobs; Al Arrives Late, Leaves Early

I attended the public hearing in Hillsboro regarding Intel’s 2014 strategic Investment Program (SIP). I testified in favor of this plan.

Agents Dennis Coplan, Mark Sundstrum, and retiree Terry Neely also testified in favor of this tax break. Frank Wall, the Executive Director of the PMCA, our contractors association, also testified.

I was stunned that our Business Manager arrived late and left before the meeting ended. Apparently, it was not important enough to personally tell the County Commissioners and City Council Members how vital Intel’s continued growth is to our members.

Intel continues to be the largest consistent source of work for 290 members in our jurisdiction.
