You only need to attend the Medford, Eugene, Eureka, and Salem picnics to see this. Al is using the picnics for his own campaign. Look at the pictures of the fire arm raffle. He is using the union event to raise money for his campaign. This is highly unethical.
When I ran for Business Manager, I asked all the agents not to use union vehicles or resources to campaign and not to wear buttons at the picnics. These picnics are for your enjoyment and not for campaign fundraisers. Some of the agents have driven union vehicles to events and wore campaign buttons. Some have ran raffles and collected member contact information for Al at the events while wearing buttons. Was your dues money being used for Al’s campaign? These union events have been hijacked and have become fundraisers. Is this what YOU want from our paid officers, agents, and organizers?
